Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan wrote on his social media page:
“Yerevan is people who, with their talent, dedication, and work, make our city better every day.
By the decision of the Yerevan Council of Elders, I have awarded the title of “Honorary Citizen of Yerevan” to literary critic, Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor, Honored Artist of the Republic of Armenia Avetik (Avik) Isahakyan; journalist, educator, public and cultural figure Mark Grigoryan, and Armenian artist Taron Muradyan.
