"Manushian Week" dedicated to Misak Manushian and his comrades in the French Resistance movement

With the support and co-initiative of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports of the Republic of Armenia, the Yerevan Municipality and the Representation of the European Union in Armenia, the “SATE-ATGH” Theater Union and the “ART-IMAG” Cultural Organization will hold the “Manushyan Week” in Armenia from March 14-18, 2025, dedicated to Misak Manushyan and her comrades-in-arms of the French Resistance movement. The project aims to redefine Manushyan’s legacy, highlight her role in the global resistance movement, and promote historical and cultural dialogue between France and Armenia.

The events will be organized in Yerevan and Artashat, including theatrical performances, conferences, exhibitions, documentary film screenings, and discussions. The project is implemented with the support and patronage of the French Auvergne Rhône-Alpes region and the Lyon Municipality. The project is supported by the Embassy of the French Republic in Armenia and the French Institute, “Arleam,” “Arleam Aero,” and “Carrefour” companies. The project partners are the E. Charents Literature and Art Museum, the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute, the “Matenadaran” M. Mashtots Scientific Research Institute of Ancient Manuscripts Foundation, the Union of Cinematographers of Armenia, the Amo Kharazyan State Drama Theater of Artashat, the Pantheon of France, the “Roger Violet” Gallery, the French University in Armenia, and the “Alef” Publishing House.
