The contract for preparing the statue of Charles Aznavour, Armenia's national hero, has been signed, and the opening ceremony is planned for May 22, 2025. Mayor Tigran Avinyan was informed during the procedural consultation of the Yerevan Municipality, adding that the relevant funds have already been allocated in the 2024 budget.
"Works on the preparation and installation of the statue will continue in 2025, and on May 22, as the end of events dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the great artist, the opening ceremony of the statue is planned."
