Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan announced that opera singer, People's Artist of Armenia Barsegh Tumanyan, sculptor, academician, People's Artist of Armenia Levon Tokmajyan, poet, literary critic, honored figure of culture of Armenia Henrik Edoyan and stage director, People's Artist of Armenia Armen Khandikyan were awarded the title of "Honorary Citizen of Yerevan" by the decision of the Council of Elders of Yerevan.
"Yerevan comprises people who live the city and cultural life with their talent, dedication, and work. I also gave letters of thanks and certificates of honor to the employees of the Yerevan Municipality, who distinguished themselves with their work and showed the best results," added the mayor.
