The second issue on the agenda of the newly elected Council of Elders of Yerevan was the election of committee presidents and vice presidents.

The newly elected council of elders elected Marat Tokhyan, a member of the KP faction, as the chairman of the State and Legal Affairs Committee of the Yerevan Council of Elders, with 35 votes in favor.

The KP faction nominated Arman Babajanyan as vice chairman of the State and Legal Affairs Committee. As a result of the voting, his candidacy was approved with 37 votes in favor.

KP proposed the candidacy of Alexander Badalyan for the position of chairman of the permanent committee on urban planning and land use issues. He was elected with 32 votes.

The "Public Voice" faction nominated Vahan Avagyan as the Standing Committee on Urban Planning vice chairman. His candidacy was approved with 37 votes in favor.

The KP faction proposed Hayk Mirzoyan's candidacy as chairman of the Standing Committee on Education, Culture, and Social Affairs. His candidacy was approved with 32 votes.

The "Republic" faction proposed Gohar Baldryan's candidacy as the Standing Committee on Education, Culture, and Social Affairs vice chairman. As a result of the voting, his candidacy was approved with 32 votes in favor.

The "Republic" faction nominated Hayk Sahakyan as chairman of the standing committee on financial, credit, and economic issues of the Council of Aldermen, whose candidacy was approved with 31 votes in favor and 3 against.

The KP faction proposed the candidacy of Diana Kerobyan for the position of vice president of the Standing Committee on Financial, Credit, and Economic Affairs. As a result of the voting, his candidacy was approved with 37 votes in favor.
