Yerevan Deputy Mayor Tigran Avinyan wrote:
"Dear citizens of the Republic of Armenia, Azerbaijan's large-scale military operations against Artsakh, as a result of which civilians, including children, are killed, aims to depopulate Artsakh completely. Next, it is planned to involve Armenia in the war and attack our sovereign territory.
Against this background, the goal of some foreign centers is to make a coup in Armenia and abolish Armenia's sovereignty.
It is extremely important to maintain alertness and sobriety of mind. The independence and sovereignty of the Republic of Armenia are non-negotiable for us and the attempts of a violent coup carried out in parallel with the tension on the military front will be stopped in a very strict way. May God protect us all."
