A comprehensive project for the repair of Yerevan highways has been developed, Tigran Avinyan

Tigran Avinyan, the deputy mayor of Yerevan, presented the works of repairing the capital's roads: "The overhaul of the underground passage of the "Lambada" junction has already been completed. The repair works of the underground passage near the "Pak Shuka" are in progress, and the repair of the underground passage at the Mashtots-Lusavorich-Paronyan intersection is planned to start in 2023.

In this quarter, we put into operation the section connecting Khachatryan and Mamikonyants streets, which significantly impacts the relief of traffic on Komitas avenue."

According to Avinyan, a comprehensive project was developed for the first time to repair Yerevan highways, including 12 administrative districts and about 200 km of roads, "While developing this project, we involved leading specialists in road construction; implementation is planned to start from 2023."

Avinyan also said, "In 2023, we plan to start the overhaul of the two tunnels leading to the children's railway. Now the program is in the design phase."

He noted that improvement works are being carried out in the parks of Yerevan, "Now works are underway in the park for the 40th anniversary of the victory in the Second World War. Improvement of the park adjacent to St. Gregory the Illuminator Church will begin after the end of the competition. Fountain systems will also be built in both parks."
