That Yerevan Deputy Mayor Tigran Avinyan confirmed today at the year-end press conference that almost 90% of transport reforms can be completed within two years.
According to Tigran Avinyan, in two years ,there will be a completely new reformed transport network, the quality of which will satisfy people. "Transportation reforms do not imply only the purchase of buses. The transport reform implies a unified ticketing system, adapted bus stops, timetables, dedicated bus lanes.
As for the unified ticket system, the tender has been held, we are at the stage when the municipality has to sign a contract with the winning organization."
Referring to the timing of the introduction of the ticket system, Avinyan said that it will probably be implemented in 2023.
