Yerevan Deputy Mayor Tigran Avinyan referred to the capital's transport problems.
According to him, the problem of the transport network has not been solved with the arrival of new buses, because their number is small. "The staged reform has put us in front of a situation where we have a small number of buses in operation. All previous Gazelles have already left all lines. Yes, our transport situation is not good. We are waiting for 150 new buses until the end of the year or in January, and next year we are waiting for more than 80 new 12-meter buses. Even after their arrival, we cannot say that the transport reform has been completed. We will introduce a unified ticket system, to which the metro will also be connected, and after that, the complete package can be considered complete.
