Today in Yerevan, the international song contest "Junior Eurovision 2022" countdown was solemnly given. Thirty days left. The countdown was announced by Malena, who brought Eurovision to Armenia, and this year's representative of Armenia, Nare Ghazaryan.
Yerevan Deputy Mayor Tigran Avinyan thanked Malena for bringing this pan-European competition to Armenia. "After 24 days, we will witness one of the largest events in Yerevan this year, the Junior Eurovision Song Contest." Avinyan also emphasized. "The city hall is making special holiday preparations for the "Children's Eurovision" and the New Year. And we still have some surprises for the capital city."
Hovhannes Movsisyan, executive director of the Public Television Company, noted that a lot of work was done during this period so everyone could participate in the holiday.
The event was attended by the Chief of Staff of the RA Prime Minister Arayik Harutyunyan, diplomatic representatives of the participating countries, partners of the competition, and fans of Eurovision.
On December 5, the participants of the competition will light the capital's main Christmas tree in Republic Square. The most awaited event of the year will occur on December 11, at 19:00, at the sports concert complex named after Karen Demirchyan.
