Yerevan Deputy Mayor Tigran Avinyan wrote on his Facebook page:
"Today, with my wife and our daughter Sofia, we participated in the National Tree Planting. This was Sofia's first tree planting. I am glad there was an opportunity to share this experience with him and answer questions. I am convinced that a society that will raise a generation of tree planters will never again turn into a community that cuts down trees and deliberately damages nature.
Special thanks to the employees of "Greening and Environmental Protection" ANC for guiding us in the tree planting and their dedicated work. I hope such vital initiatives will be contagious and attract a wider audience annually."
