Metro, buses, and trolleybuses in Yerevan will work with a single ticket system
Yerevan Deputy Mayor Tigran Avinyan referred to implementing the unified ticket transport system at the Council of Elders meeting. He inquired at what stage the transition to a suitable ticket system is and whether the metro is included.
Sargis Manukyan, Director of "The Yerevan City Management Technology Center" CJSC, detailed that Yerevan's metro, buses, and trolleybuses will work with a single ticket system. "The project envisages the metro and ground transportation: buses and trolleybuses. It is not excluded that other intercity transports entering Yerevan will join this system in the future. The system is flexible and allows one to include other vehicles operating in Yerevan. The project is extensive; the entire investment will take about a year."
