Azerbaijan has sent $1 million in humanitarian aid to Ukraine. The Ministry of Energy is carrying out the supply in accordance with Aliyev’s decree of January 16, 2026.
The supply includes 12 low-voltage panels, 11 generators, 5 transformers, and 27 km of cable. The total cost of the aid is $1 million.
According to Azerbaijani media, the supply was organized at the request of the Ukrainian side amid serious power supply problems caused by Russian shelling.
