Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babiš has stated that the Czech Republic cannot clearly state whether it stands by Greenland, stressing that reaching an agreement within NATO is a priority and that clashes are unproductive.
“We definitely prefer that an agreement be reached within the alliance. It would be very sad if there were just some clashes. Because of the dispute, I bought a large, beautiful globe for 15,000 crowns so I could see where Greenland is. That “Oreshnik” will fly from Russia to the White House in 26 minutes, and in the 11th minute, it will be right over Greenland. Hence, President Trump’s arguments about China and Russia are relevant, but it is simply necessary to reach an agreement. Some appeals or statements are meaningless,” Babis said.
