Kremlin agrees with Trump. Peskov

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that the Russian authorities agree with US President Donald Trump's position that Volodymyr Zelensky is hindering the peace process in Ukraine.

The Kremlin did not confirm reports that Russia is ready to agree to the deployment of peacekeeping forces in Ukraine, including soldiers from China and other countries of the Global South.

Peskov's main statements are below:

- Putin will deliver a speech on foreign policy at the ceremony of presenting credentials to ambassadors.

- The Kremlin agrees with Trump's position that Zelensky is hindering the peace process.

- The situation for the Kiev regime is getting worse every day, and the "corridor" for making decisions is narrowing.

- The time has come for Zelensky to take responsibility and make decisions that contribute to peace, but he is not doing so.

- Russia has not received a response from the US on Putin's initiative to extend the terms of the INF Treaty, but is waiting for it.

- A more beneficial INF Treaty is necessary for everyone, but its development is a complex and lengthy process.

- Putin noted that the INF documents should also take into account the entire nuclear potential of the West (Peskov on the US desire to include China).

- Russia considers it urgent and necessary to continue the dialogue with the US on the issue of Ukraine, and the channels of communication are working.

- Moscow considers it essential to present to the Americans their views on the discussions that are taking place on the Ukrainian issue.
