Senior US and Danish officials to discuss Greenland's fate

Tomorrow, Danish Foreign Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen and Greenland’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Vivian Motzfeldt will meet with US Vice President J.D. Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio. The talks will take place against the backdrop of an escalating dispute over US claims to Greenland.

A US congressional delegation, comprising both Republicans and Democrats, will arrive in Copenhagen in a few days.

Meetings with representatives of the Danish government and business are expected.

Greenland is a semi-autonomous territory of Denmark, which is a US and NATO ally.
