The Russian Foreign Ministry has called the information about the Russian Armed Forces striking the Qatari Embassy in Kyiv false.
"Ukrainian sources are disseminating information about the damage caused by the strike on the Qatari Embassy in Kyiv on January 9. The Russian armed forces have never targeted diplomatic missions.
There were also no designated targets near the Qatari diplomatic mission, indicating that the Ukrainian air defense system was disrupted and that the embassy building was damaged.
Russia considers the State of Qatar to be a priority partner and a friendly country," the statement said.
