The Russian armed forces again launched a massive attack on the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv, on the night of January 9. At least 4 people were killed in the attack. This was reported on social networks by the head of the Kiev city state administration, Timur Tkachenko, and Mayor Vitali Klitschko.
Residential buildings and infrastructure were damaged, and there were casualties and injuries.
Currently, 4 victims are known. 19 people were injured. 14 of them were hospitalized by doctors, and the rest received on-the-spot assistance. Among the victims is one medical worker; 4 medical workers were injured,” Klitschko noted.
Damage to critical infrastructure was recorded. In some areas of the city, power and water supplies are disrupted.
