YPG fighters move east of the Euphrates

Following the Syrian government’s operations in central Aleppo, members of the YPG/SDG organization, who have been entrenched in the Sheikh Maqsood district, will be sent east of the Euphrates River. Turkish media outlets are actively reporting on this.

Dozens of buses have arrived at the Lermun intersection to transport members of the group to the northeast, which is occupied by the Syrian Democratic Forces (YPG/SDG).

The buses are entering the Sheikh Maqsood district from different directions. It is expected that in the coming hours, the militants carrying light weapons will be placed in the vehicles and sent as part of the “evacuation” process.

It is reported that after this process ends, the center of Aleppo will be cleared of the organization that took root there during the Syrian civil war.
