US President Donald Trump has threatened to strike Iran "very hard" if protesters are killed in the country.
"I've made it clear to them that if they start killing people, which they usually do during riots, we're going to strike them. Dozens of people have died. We're watching very closely. The crowd is so big that it's a stampede. But they know, they've been told, that if they do that, they're going to pay a heavy price," the US president said.
Trump also added that things are "going very badly" for the Iranian authorities.
