“I am proud to announce that the interim authorities of Venezuela will transfer 30 to 50 million barrels of high-quality, sanctioned oil to the United States. This oil will be sold at market prices, and I will control this money as President of the United States, so that it will be used for the benefit of the people of Venezuela and the United States. I have directed Secretary of Energy Chris Wright to implement this program immediately. The oil will be transported by tankers and unloaded directly at ports in the United States.
