French President Emmanuel Macron has responded to the Trump-Zelensky meeting.
In a post published on X after the meeting between the US and Ukrainian presidents, Macron announced progress on security guarantees.
“We are making progress on security guarantees, which will be central to building a just and durable peace,” he wrote.
Macron noted that countries in the so-called “Coalition of the Willing” will meet in Paris in early January to finalize their “concrete contributions.”
