US President Donald Trump has said that with the eight wars he has resolved in the last 11 months, the United States has effectively taken over the role of the United Nations, which has provided little help or support to the conflicts.
“I am pleased to announce that the outbreak of hostilities between Thailand and Cambodia will cease immediately, and they will return to peace in accordance with our recently agreed-upon preliminary agreement. I want to congratulate both great leaders on their brilliant actions in reaching this swift and very just resolution.
The United States of America, as always, has been proud to help. With all the wars and conflicts that I have resolved and stopped in the last eleven months, the United States may have become a real United Nations. It has provided very little help or support to any of them, including the disastrous situation currently unfolding between Russia and Ukraine. The UN must start getting active and involved in peace processes,” Trump stressed.
