Constitutional amendments and full implementation of TRIPP obligations are necessary: Bayramov

As a result of the policy pursued for years, the conflict has ended. Jeyhun Bayramov stated this, emphasizing that new realities have emerged in the South Caucasus.

"We will see the first signs of this in 2025. This work will continue in 2026," he said.

The minister noted that amendments to the Armenian constitution and full implementation of TRIPP obligations are mandatory conditions for signing a peace agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia.

He also touched on Turkey's role in Armenian-Azerbaijani relations and the Armenian-Turkish normalization process.

Turkey has always supported Azerbaijan in its relations with Armenia, which is very important for Azerbaijan. Even after the 44-day war, the process of normalizing relations between Turkey and Armenia was carried out with coordinated efforts. This is yielding positive results. My colleague Hakan Fidan also stated in the National Assembly that relations between Armenia and Turkey are linked to relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia. I am confident that this work will continue in the future," he said.
