Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has announced that he will soon meet with US President Donald Trump.
The Ukrainian president also reported on his social media that the head of the Ukrainian delegation for negotiations with the US, Rustem Umerov, had presented him with the results of their recent meetings in the US.
Umerov recently spoke in Florida with Trump’s special envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner. They discussed the details of the peace plan developed by the US and modified during numerous negotiations.
“We are not wasting a single day. We have agreed to meet with President Trump at the highest level in the near future. Much can be decided by the New Year,” Zelensky wrote.
