"Donbas is ours." Putin

Putin has announced that Russia will not give up on the condition that control over the entire Donbas be transferred.

During the State Council session, the Russian president focused on negotiations with the United States and Ukraine on a peace plan, Kommersant reported, citing sources.

"He spoke about the agreements reached in Anchorage, the American plan, and the positions that were, so to speak, quickly agreed upon. He also said that, as a result of negotiations with the Europeans, the Americans abandoned some of their proposals. And that this is a weakness," the article notes.

According to sources, Putin emphasized that the Russian side remains ready to make the concessions it accepted in Anchorage.

"So, the point is that 'Donbas is ours.' It was noted that 'the issue of the Kramatorsk-Konstantinovsk-Slavyansk junction is not up for discussion.'" However, in other respects, a partial territorial exchange by the Russian side is also not ruled out," the article states.
