Iran has developed a device that identifies the boundaries of cancer cells

An Iranian scientific and technological company has developed the world’s first CDP device, a system that identifies tumor boundaries with 90% accuracy during breast cancer surgery, Iranian media reported.

Mohammad Hossein Yazdi, sales manager of Salamat Aria, a manufacturer of knowledge-based nanosensors, commented on the product presented at the exhibition.

“One of the company’s major achievements, which has reached the commercialization stage, is the CDP cancer diagnostic probe, which is designed to identify the boundaries of cancer cells during breast cancer surgery.”
