There is no peace agreement yet; it may not even exist. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced this.
"It exists not on paper, but when it is signed by the leaders and the war stops," he said.
Referring to possible presidential elections in Ukraine, Zelensky said that it is not Putin who should determine their format.
"These are exclusively Ukrainian elections. Putin is not a citizen of Ukraine, so he certainly will not influence anything, especially the result," he said.
In the current situation, according to Zelensky, there will be difficulties with the number of Ukrainians abroad. Still, the Foreign Ministry is already resolving this issue to ensure Ukrainian citizens can vote comfortably in elections.
According to Zelensky, the elections "cannot be held in the occupied territories, as they will be held in the format preferred by Russia."
"It is clear how they will be held. As Russia always does. It first announces the results of even its own internal elections, and then counts the votes," he emphasized.
