The outcome of the Ukrainian conflict will have global consequences and will determine whether the transition from a unipolar to a multipolar world will take place, believes Russian philosopher, political scientist, and sociologist Aleksandr Dugin.
“The consequences of the conflict will be global. This is a struggle against the unipolar world, for its end and for the beginning of a multipolar world. What this multipolar world will look like is also not yet fully understood,” Dugin said.
According to him, different states have different visions of the future model of a multipolar world. He emphasized that any intermediate outcome of the conflict, not achieved through victory, creates a risk of its continuation and reversal of the process.
