Fico's plane collides with a car in Brussels

The special government plane of the Slovak Interior Ministry's Aviation Department, which was transporting Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico to Brussels today, crashed at Brussels Airport.

The Prime Minister announced that the plane was struck by a ramp vehicle, rendering it unfit for flight.

After the crash, the government plane was grounded for safety reasons. Neither the crew nor the passengers were in danger as a result of the collision, TASR news agency reported, citing a press release from the Slovak Interior Ministry.

"The tense summit in Brussels started badly. At the airport, a ramp vehicle collided with our plane, making it unfit for flight, and we had to leave it there," Fico wrote.
