The United States is developing sanctions against Russia’s energy sector that could be imposed if Russia rejects proposals to resolve the Ukrainian crisis, Bloomberg reported.
According to the agency, Washington is considering measures, in particular, against ships of the “shadow fleet” used to transport Russian oil, as well as against trading companies that facilitate relevant transactions.
The sources emphasize that the decisions are still under discussion.
