It's known how much Apple's CEO earns

Apple CEO Tim Cook earns significantly less than one would expect from the CEO of a company with a market capitalization of $4 trillion.

According to Fortune, his annual salary is $74.6 million, which is relatively modest compared to other top U.S. executives.

Still, Cook ranks only seventh among the highest-paid CEOs in the United States. By comparison, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella earns $79.1 million, and Starbucks CEO Kevin Johnson earns $95.8 million. The highest-paid CEO in the country is Axon CEO Rick Smith, who makes $164.5 million annually.

Still, Tim Cook earns the equivalent of the average American's annual salary in about seven hours. In two days, he could afford to purchase a house valued at approximately $439,000.

During his 14 years at the helm of Apple, Cook has increased the company's market value by an estimated 13,900%, transforming it from a mere corporation to the undisputed global market leader.

Under his leadership, Apple also posted a record $124.3 billion in revenue in the first quarter of fiscal 2025, and strong demand for the iPhone 17 suggests that new records are in store for 2026.
