US President Donald Trump’s special envoy Steve Witkoff has announced “significant progress” in talks with the Ukrainian delegation in Berlin and confirmed that a second meeting will take place today.
“The meeting between President Zelensky, Special Envoy Witkoff, Jared Kushner, and the US and Ukrainian delegations in Berlin lasted more than five hours.
The representatives had in-depth discussions on the peace plan, economic programs, and other issues. Significant progress has been made, and a follow-up meeting will take place tomorrow morning,” Witkoff wrote on his “X” page.
