Israel does not want to give the Syrian people the chance that the international community is giving them. Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan stated this.
"Unfortunately, the Israeli leadership, led by Netanyahu, draws its strength and sense of security from the weakness of neighboring countries in the region. The fact that Syria has received support from the international community over the past year has not pleased Israel at all. Citing its unilateral security considerations, Israel began the occupation in the south, advanced ground troops, and, as if that were not enough, it regularly strikes, including Damascus. This is, of course, completely unacceptable," the Turkish Foreign Minister stated.
