Ukraine launched about 300 drones into Russia overnight, striking more than 10 regions.
This nightly attack by Ukrainian drones was one of the largest in recent months.
According to a morning report by the Russian Defense Ministry, 287 Ukrainian drones were intercepted and shot down by air defense systems on the night of December 10-11.
Forty drones were shot down in the skies over the Moscow region overnight, including 32 drones flying to the capital.
The four airports of the Moscow air hub - Sheremetyevo, Domodedovo, Vnukovo, and Zhukovsky - suspended operations overnight, but resumed normal operations at 8 a.m. local time.
The Ukrainian military has not commented on the drone attack overnight.
