Controversial provisions for Ukraine have been removed. Zelensky

The US peace plan contained 28 points, but today Rustem Umerov presented 20. The controversial provisions for Ukraine have been removed, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said in response to journalists' questions.

He noted that the US attitude towards the peace plan is to seek compromises, but "difficult issues" remain.

"A compromise on the territorial issue has not yet been reached," he noted, and Ukraine has no right to give up its territories either under the country's Constitution, international law, or moral law.

Zelensky noted that US President Donald Trump has "his own vision" of ending the war, but it differs from the Ukrainian approach.

"Ukraine is not satisfied with the idea of excluding the United States from the peace process. Kyiv appreciates Washington's support and continued pressure on Russia," Zelensky said.

According to the Ukrainian president, there is no need to be pessimistic about the "territories not yet occupied by the enemy" - this does not mean they will be occupied. At the same time, he noted that the situation on the front line is currently "not easy."
