Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said it was important for Moscow to understand the results of US-Ukrainian cooperation after Russian-American consultations in the Kremlin.
“You know that significant work was done in Moscow during the meeting between Putin, Witkoff, and Kushner. Then Witkoff and Kushner worked on the results achieved in Moscow, in cooperation with the Ukrainian negotiating delegation led by Umerov. Now it is important for us to understand the results of this work,” Peskov told reporters.
According to him, work on the Ukrainian settlement cannot be carried out exclusively in public.
“It is obvious that the parties are now increasingly understanding that work must be carried out in silence. Such work cannot be carried out exclusively in public, it is destructive, and most importantly, it does not achieve results,” Peskov told reporters.
