The US military said it had struck a suspected drug-trafficking vessel in international waters in the eastern Pacific Ocean. Four people on board were killed.
“Intelligence has confirmed that the vessel was transporting illicit drugs and was traveling along a known drug trafficking route in the eastern Pacific,” the US military said in a statement published on X.
