The Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council, Dmitry Medvedev, has made another post on his Telegram channel, threatening war if Russian assets frozen in Belgium are provided to Ukraine as a compensation loan.
“If the deranged European Union tries to steal Russian assets frozen in Belgium by providing a so-called compensation loan, such actions can be classified under international law as a special type of casus belli, with all the ensuing consequences for Brussels and individual EU countries. And in that case, the return of these funds can take place not through legal proceedings, but through real compensation paid in kind by Russia’s defeated enemies,” Medvedev wrote.
