Putin sets the task of creating a security zone along the border with Ukraine

Russian President Vladimir Putin has announced the task of creating a security zone along the border with Ukraine in the area of responsibility of the North Group. He made this statement on the evening of November 30 during a visit to the command post of the United Forces Group.
“I, among other things, asked you to report on the situation developing in the area of responsibility of the North Group, taking into account that it is tasked with creating a security zone along the state border,” Putin said, addressing Chief of the General Staff Valery Gerasimov.
“In this regard, I would like to hear how the situation is developing in the area of the city of Volchansk and in Volchansk itself,” the president added.
