The OSCE has completed the process of closing the Minsk Group and its related structures. The organization stated this.
This was done in accordance with the decision of the Ministerial Council, which was made based on a joint application by Armenia and Azerbaijan to the OSCE Chairmanship.
“The completion of all necessary administrative procedures marks the end of the closing process. This process was implemented by a consensus decision of all 57 OSCE participating States on September 1, following the historic joint declaration signed in Washington on August 8, 2025, in the presence of US President Donald Trump,” the statement said.
