Green cards issued in the US will be reviewed

The Trump administration has announced that it will review the green cards issued to citizens of 19 countries. The decision follows the shooting of National Guard soldiers near the White House, in which the suspect was an Afghan citizen who had arrived in the United States on a green card.

Joseph Edlow, the administrator of the US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), said that the president has directed him to conduct a “full and thorough review of green cards for every foreign national, every country, and every situation of concern.”
