Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with Pope Leo XIV during his official visit to the Vatican.
Bayramov noted that Azerbaijan and the Holy See have strong relations, which are essential for promoting interfaith dialogue and multiculturalism.
“Relations between the two countries serve as a model of interfaith dialogue, which is the cornerstone of Azerbaijan’s state policy,” he wrote on his social media page.
