I have frequent conversations with Witkoff; their nature is confidential. A preliminary agreement has been reached that Witkoff will arrive in Moscow next week. Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov told Pavel Zarubin this.
Ushakov also emphasized that the leak of recordings to the press is aimed at hindering the improvement of Russian-American relations.
“It is probably to hinder. It is unlikely that this will be done to improve relations: they are being built with difficulty today, they are being built through this type of communication, including by telephone,” he added.
