Three critical differences remain between Ukraine and the US

Although Ukraine has generally agreed to most of the US (Trump administration) peace proposals, a Ukrainian source told CNN that at least three critical disagreements remain. They are related to the transfer of territories in Donbas, limiting the size of the armed forces, and refusing to join NATO.

According to the source, Ukraine does not see any concessions on these points, which are considered the main conditions for Russia to end the war, and NATO's demand in particular remains unacceptable.

Although there is "some progress" on the issue of territories, a final, acceptable formulation has not yet been found, and Kiev wants additional changes to the limit on troop size. The magazine writes that these disagreements are much more than "a few details."
