The United States and Ukraine have issued a joint statement on the results of the Geneva talks.

“On November 23, 2025, representatives of the United States and Ukraine met in Geneva to discuss the U.S.-proposed peace plan. The talks were constructive, focused, and respectful, underscoring a shared commitment to achieving a just and lasting peace.

The parties agreed that the consultations had been highly productive. The discussions demonstrated significant progress toward agreement on positions and clarification of next steps. It was reaffirmed that any future agreement must fully respect Ukraine’s sovereignty and ensure a lasting and just peace. As a result of the talks, the parties developed an updated, improved peace framework.

The Ukrainian delegation reiterated its gratitude for the unwavering commitment of the United States, and President Donald J. Trump himself, to ending the war and the loss of life.

Ukraine and the United States agreed to continue intensive work on the joint proposals in the coming days. They will remain in close contact with their European partners as the process progresses.

Final decisions will be made by the Presidents of Ukraine and the United States.
