The European Union will continue its cooperation with Armenia and Azerbaijan toward achieving sustainable peace and mutual development in the region. Magdalena Grono, the EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus, wrote about this on her “X” page.
“I have concluded the high-level, intensive, and important consultations that took place in Yerevan on 18-19 November. I want to thank Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan, Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, and other government officials for the in-depth and detailed exchange of views on the peace process between Azerbaijan and Armenia, the normalization of relations between Turkey and Armenia, humanitarian issues, connectivity, and regional cooperation. I was also pleased with the interesting discussions with representatives of civil society. The European Union supports our Azerbaijani and Armenian partners on the path to achieving full peace and progress in the region,” she wrote.
