Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with US Deputy Secretary of State Allison Hooker. The parties discussed the current state and prospects of bilateral cooperation, the peace process between Azerbaijan and Armenia, and regional security issues.
During the meeting, they recalled the agreements reached in Washington on August 8 and emphasized the importance of joint efforts to strengthen the strategic partnership.
Bayramov noted Baku's interest in accelerating work on the "Trump route".
The agenda for peace and stability in the South Caucasus was discussed, along with directions for action within bilateral and multilateral platforms in the coming period.
