Georgia welcomes the Washington agreements. Bochorashvili

Cooperation, friendship, and strategic partnership between Georgia and Armenia are crucial for the prosperity and stability of our two countries, as well as the region, Georgian Foreign Minister Maka Bochorishvili stated in a joint statement following a meeting with Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan.

The Minister also said that Georgia is looking forward to the visit of the Armenian President. Bochorashvili also touched upon the preliminary agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

"Georgia welcomes the peace agreement signed in Washington. This historic agreement is a significant step towards establishing lasting peace in the South Caucasus and paves the way for the region's long-term development. Georgia has consistently played a pivotal role in the region's growth and will continue to make significant contributions to regional cooperation.

Armenia is a staunch supporter of Georgia's sovereignty and territorial integrity, which is reflected in the international arena. Our countries successfully cooperate in various formats, and we will continue this mutually beneficial work in the global arena," the Georgian Minister added.
