Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, who is on an official visit to Georgia, met with Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili, also known as Irakli Kobakhidze.
According to the Georgian side, the parties discussed the situation in the region and emphasized the importance of the strategic partnership between Georgia and Armenia.
It was noted that the political dialogue between Georgia and Armenia is at the highest level. Special attention was paid to trade and economic cooperation, as Armenia is among the ten largest trading partners of Georgia.
During the meeting, the critical role of Georgia in the region's sustainable and peaceful development was emphasized.
